For me Tottenham main aim is to secure European football next season where as Benfica look certs for CL next season and will go all out for Europa league trophy - Benfica are 1-3 up from the 1st leg and now have home advantage, and being unbeaten in their last 21 league games , and unbeaten at home in the league all season, sees them top of the Portuguese Superliga. Benfica have not conceded a goal in their last 5 league games winning last home game 2-0 against Estoril. Tottenham are in disarray and was beaten 4-0 in their last league away game by Chelsea, and beaten at home 1-0 against Arsenal on the weekend . With Benfica already 3-1 up and very strong in defence at home, I can see them putting this game to bed early on, and getting an early goal, as Tottenham have no alternative but to go out and try to score as many goals as they can , leaving them wide open for Benfica to score a couple of goals.
DRAW
- Benfica have a comfort of a good result in the first game 1;3 and will be Tottenham the team who will be attacking tonight. I expect Benfica to try to close and kill the game not giving Tottenham any chance for goal, so the draw looks like a good bet for this game
TOTTENHAM
